Okay, the fourth of July is on a Saturday this year ...GOOD STUFF!I'm organizing this early so there's plenty of time to plan to come. Due to the distance, it's going to be a two day party. There seems to be a trend for a group of PortSporters to go to Flask Lounge in town on Saturdays for the karaoke. We were going for several weeks in a row over the winter but have since petered out. I'm sure we could get another night out organized again soon if we put a little effort into it!

She's on Tramadol! She's doing okay on the meds. She wants to play and we have to keep telling to to chill out and lay down. It's very tough because she's not the sit around and relax type dog! I just hope all of this helps so she can get back to playing and running around like a crazy girl! :-)

She's a hurting unit right now! :-( She was having problems with her hind end and was refusing to go up and down the stairs. She was not acting like herself at all so we brought her in for x-rays. Nothing looked fractured so the vet thinks she might have pulled a muscle or something (thanks god)! They told us to put her on Glucosamine and not let her out to play or run for two weeks. The vet said it also could be Arthritis since she's coming on 9 yrs in a few months.

I'm hoping the rest fixes the problem! She LOVES to go run and play so it would be aweful if she wasn't allowed to do that anymore! We've decided to put ramps on the steps to make it easier for her to get around. We're also going to get one so she can get in and out of the back of the Explorer without us having to pick her up. We're going to get her a new memory foam bed to help her be more comfortable when she's sleeping.

Crap! Now I don't know who I'm going to ski with!~ Kam backed out too! Hopefully there are some other people who are at my level!

I'll be there at 5:30 with Thalo. We can meet in the fenced in area at the top of the hill and then wait for everybody to get there.
