Self Defense for Good Health
Instructor: Kelcey B. Hart, CPT, CFT
Study philosophy, self-defense, strategy, history, and medicine. The training methods are simple to learn and build skill, strength, knowledge, and health. Natural body motions are refined so that all of the body’s circulations move smoothly and self-defense reactions are possible without the use of aggression. Overcoming the biological urge to struggle when faced with resistance is a key element to understanding the way of self-protection and defense. Reacting spontaneously with no attachment, while in stillness, achieving an empty state of poise, and gracefulness is the basic goal. This non-competitive class is ongoing and the system of martial art is called American Taoist Kung Fu.
Price: $120 for a 10 class pass, $200 for a 20 class pass, $75 for a 5 class pass. Drop In Cost: $15
