Hi sporty people!  I need a solid female softball player or two (preferably who play infield and outfield) for my co-ed Sunday softball league in Portland. Starts September 9th, goes into first or second week of November including playoffs (it's called the Frostbite League for a reason). Cost will be between $50-60 depending on # of players.  Let me know if you're interested!

Hey Wiffleballers,
After all that hub-bub, the grass fields are open today and we are set to play normally at Deering HS at 6pm for the last night of the season.  It will be a bit windy, but at least the sun will be out!  Also, please plan on coming to Rivalries post-game for the last opportunity to stuff the charity pot - especially if you/your team hasn't been all season.

Hey guys,

So the grass fields are closed for Sunday and Monday already and I have a call and email into the City looking for a gym to play indoor instead.  I'll keep you posted when I hear, but it won't be until Monday unfortunately.

8/29/11 Games:

Wiffleball Furies vs. Walgreens

Dutch Bastards vs. Mustard Tigers

Fun Game

Then the Championship Game as a double-header.  

Depending on how quickly the first games go, I may cap it at 5 innings so that we can try to get in a full 7 innings for the Championship.

Just sent this email out to you all:

Hey Wiffleballers,

Tonight we will play a double header.  We will start with a 5 inning game based off last week's schedule, then we will play a 7 inning start to the tournament.  The tournament will be a single elimation bracket-style with seedings:

3 vs. 6
4 vs. 5
and 1 vs. 2 will play a "fun" game as today's second game.

Then next week we will play for 7 innings:

1 vs. winner of 3 vs. 6
2 vs. winner of 4 vs. 5

then the Championship game for 7 innings.

Next week I will still have three fields set up, so please feel free to come and play for fun!

Hey Wiffleballers, the Walgreens team is all out due to a conference this week, so if anyone wants to sub in tonight, we could use 5 people in green t-shirts.

We are on the fields at Deering High School where we have played before. If you click on the schedule it has all of the game locations.
