Anyone want to meet up and kayak on Sebago Lake one day?  I have a right of way to the lake, try to go out as much as I can, and would love to have some company.

I just bought an Old Town Vapor kayak. Looking forward to using it once its warm out again. Any must kayak spots within 25 miles of Portland that I should know about?

Any paddlers that like to hit the surf? I'll be kayak surfing down @ Higgins if anyone's interested. :)

we like to do the Saco river. We usually put in at Swan falls in fryeburg. There are different points you can pull out at depending on how far you want to go.

My wife and I recently bought kayaks and are looking for rivers\streams we can put in and more or less float (not tooo much paddling) and take out at one of our vehicles. Any ideas?

Mary, if you can get me a date I may be able to help or teach a safety course. Just drop me a email.

Megan and I used to live in Boothbay, frequently kayaked all around the peninsula and know the tour operators. There are many great day tours as well as overnight opportunities, camping on local islands. It's close, it's fun and for the new comers to the sport it's a great place to learn.
