December 10, 2009 is
The 2nd Annual PortSports Wassailing Party!
Bingas Stadium
77 Free Street
Portland, Maine
6:30PM - 10:00PM ( Traditional Wassail Toast @ 7:30 PM provided by Maine Mead Works )
$10 + food donation for Wayside Soup Kitchen
( 100% of the $10 is donated to the Maine Children's Cancer Program )
Dress to Impress

This is our largest charity event of the year. Part fundraiser, part food drive, part volunteer drive, all party!

Wassailng was the only time when Peasants were allowed to beg for food and money from the Lords without it being considered a bad thing.

Here at PortSports we band together to beg the over 750 members and their friends and family to try to make a difference in peoples lives with one party.

There will be Music, Dancing, Drinks, and Prizes all evening.
