The Fore Play Bar Olympics are back, this time with the help of Rolling Rock and PortSports Social Club.
The Bar Olympics will take place every Sunday beginning February 21st at 4:00pm at Fore Play Sports Pub and will continue for 8 weeks of regular season, then playoffs. Rolling Rock will on special for $1.75, with liquor specials each week as well.
Bar Games included in the tournament (specific games subject to change):
Fooseball, Air Hockey, Pool, Darts, Quarters, Bubble Boy Hockey, Pinball, Buck Hunter, Wii Home Run Derby, and Wii Bowling.
How it’s scored:
Scoring is a basic point system. The top 40 teams will receive points for the week, with the top ranked team receiving 40 points, the second ranked team receiving 39 points, down to the 40th ranked team receiving one point.
What do I win?
Prizes will be awarded every week for the top scoring team. There will also be a mid-season single game tournament with two mini fridges up for grabs.
The Grand Prize is a trip for two to Las Vegas, with airfare and hotel included courtesy of Rolling Rock.
The pre registration fee for the Fore Play Bar Olympics is $10 per person which includes a special Bar Olympics t-shirt provided by Rolling Rock with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Wounded Warriors Project. We are accepting team registrations as well as individual registrations. Team size is 2 people. The online registration deadline is Saturday, February 20th.
**Each team that competes every week is guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Teams are allowed to have subs during the regular season, but not in the playoffs.**
